Easy Way to Farm Vaal Hazak Fangs
kill vaal hazak, maybe you can go to google if you want prove that he can drop items named after him

Investigations with silver/gold slots, and from the drops he leaves, when things break or he falls over (not rly sure what the trigger is)
Break his head while on Investigations with 1 Bronze 3 Gold reward boxes, or 2 Silver 2 Gold boxes, for the best chance of getting them as a drop.
They're annoying, but not quite as annoying as Xeno'Jiiva horns eh?

I like to think he does it when Elderseal messes up his effluvium coating, but I honestly don't know. He's a monster wrapped in the shroud of death and unlocks words for your Guild Card such as "zombie" and "corpse" so he's probably living up to his reputation and pretending to be dead.
Shame it doesn't work and just gets his weak spots caved in, lol. Bit of tremor is the only threatening thing about it.

1. Find a hammer main
2. Tell hammer main to smash Val's face.
3. Obtain fang. If no fang, repeat from step 1.
Get your palicoe to use the plunder blade. Last time I fought Vaal, my palicoe got 2 of them
Start the optional quest to hunt him, break his head and leave right after, no point killing him since the chance for carves and rewards to be fangs is abysmal and this way is much faster than getting a kill

Hit the face when you get a chance. When he falls over from hitting the face hit it one more time when he's below 20% HP and his Fang might pop in rewards.

Yeah elder seal breaks his cloak, as it does to all elder dragons(on exception to Behemoth in which elder seal seems to do nothing special). Don't worry, ArcTempered Vaal Hazak is actually dangerous. I have to use a set particularly for him because of how hard he hits, frequently he procs status and his new moves.

I am :D thats why I know how to get his face. Easier to do in singleplayer. Beat his chest til he falls down then beat his face.
